Merry Chris-Mice

Hi there,

Hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving weekend eating and or shopping!  I did both!  Today I am back with my second post for the month with Red Rubber Designs .  Aren't these little mice adorable??  They are having fun decking the halls!  I made this card larger than usual because I wanted to get a least 3 of the mice on the card.  There is a 4th and 5 image as well and 2 sentiments.  This set is called Havin A Ball and can be found here .  It's a great deal for this set! Go check it out!  I first stamps each mouse onto Copic paper then die cut each with a stitched circle , colored them with Copics and backed with glitter paper.  I used Wow Mistletoe magic embossing powder on the sentiment backing it with black and white stripe printed vellum and stapled it around some silver twine. DP is from Photoplay Dear Santa polka dot paper I die cut with a stitched border die. I added a little liquid appliqué on their hats and some diamond stickles on the balls for sparkle and a bit of bling.

Boo To You

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing another Red Rubber Designs project featuring Witch Legs .  I only used 2 of the images from this set, the set of legs and the chandelier.  I watercolored the background with Colorburst Orange and Lemon Yellow, let it dry and die cut it.  First I stamped the Witch Legs in the right corner and embossed with black fine embossing powder. Then I used Happily Grateful and stamped the leaves in black and added Gift For You just the curly Q swirls, then the sentiment I used Joyful Notes I just used the You from thankful for You and embossed it in black and added sticky letters for Boo to.  The Chandelier is colored with distress markers and die cut and added last. I love how this spooky card came out.  Dig out your stamps and try using them differently than what they are intended for.  A great way to stretch them!

Minnie and Mickey

Hi there,

I wanted to share a couple of cards I made recently for two family members.  I made the Minnie card for my husband's great niece and the Mickey I made into a shaker card for her little boy. They just loved them.  She works for Disney travel so I knew she would love it.  I purchased this stamp set from Sassy Cheryl quite a while back for 5 bucks!  She was clearing them out.  So I don't think it's available anymore.  I used a few die cuts on these.  I love the stitched speech bubble from My Favorite Things and the Happy is from Hero Arts. Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!  I colored them with Copics.  Enjoy.

By the seaside

Hi there,

I'm back again today with a summer beach card.  I'm playing over at Splitcoast Stampers in today's Free for all challenge #277 which is Use the letters JUNE and create a card. I started with a white piece of card stock and put 3 colors of Distress ink on a craft sheet. I used fossilized amber, ripe persimmon and mermaid lagoon. Spritzed with water and laid card stock in blue first, then one corner Fossilized amber then another corner ripe persimmon. I let the card stock dry then stamped images. I love the way it came out.  This is not my usual style was very fun!  J-jute, U-underwear, N-nautical, E-embellishments.  I think that works!
