Gonna need a bigger cake!!

Hi there,

Thought I would share a card I recently made inspired by a Jennifer Mcguire video found HERE . I've had this stamp set from AveryElle called Hello Chum .  I love this set!!!! I don't own the dies I just fussy cut it! It make for a great kid card and I just love the sentiments!! Just used a few grey copies to color this one and it's done!! The blue paper I've had forever in my stash. The scallop edging on the sentiments is from Paper Smooches called waves .

Happy stamping!

Two graduations

Hi there,

Sorry it's been so long since a post.  Didn't realize how long it's been!

Had two graduations recently for two grandsons so I thought I would share both!

The first one features The Ton Bokeh Burst Star found Here . I adore this set.  Can be used for lots of different cards.  Fourth of July, birthday, graduation.  I stamped it on clear heat resistant acetate and embossed with gold embossing powder.  Used neutral colors for a guy graduation card.  I took a class from on-line card classes sheer and clear found Here .  It was a fun class.  Check it out!  So that was my inspiration for this card.

DP: American crafts Project Life
Hot off the press heat resistant acetate
gold sequin stash
Hero Arts gold embossing powder
MFT Die-namics Stitched basic E

The second card features a stamped sentiment from Taylored Expressions called  Eventful-graduation and Eventful - Graduation border die which I cut apart.  I embossed the sentiment and added 2016 using Wplus 9's Modern Numerals die which are always good to have on hand for birthdays!

Happy Easter!

Hi there,

It's Easter so thought I would share a card!  This stamp from Unity is not a new one, I got it last year and hadn't used it yet so I colored it up and sent it off to a family member.  I think this little peep is so adorable!  And I love the sentiment!!  I used a few die cuts from Mama Elephant and Impression Obsession , twine from The Twinery .   DP is from Lawn Fawn . I hope you all have a Blessed Easter.

Happy Spring!

Hi there,

I haven't posted in a while so today thought I would share a Spring card featuring a Crocus from Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society.  This one was from January.  You can sign up to receive a different flower every month.  They now have dies to go with them as well.  I colored this one with colored pencils.  I purchased new pencils from Spectrum Noir and am practicing a little. I die cut colored image with a die from Pretty Pink Posh twice, Copic airbrushed around edges, white embossed sentiment from Rubberneckers, DP is Lawn Fawn.  Have a happy spring!

Hey birthday boy

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing a guy birthday card for Red Rubber Designs .  This set is called Hey Life .  Its a fabulous silhouette set for boys and guys!  I always have trouble coming up with ideas for guys but with this set it was easy!  I started by using the smooching technique with distress inks on a clear block, adding some water then smooching the block onto white card stock in two areas.  Let that dry then stamp the image in black ink.  Really simple and then complete card.  I added a few dies to add some interest and done! BTW, this is my last post for the Red Rubber Designs Team.  I've enjoyed sharing all the really great stamps in the shop!  Thanks to Pam and the girls it was really fun!

I just love their stamps.  Especially the cats and dogs doing all kinds of fun stuff.  I Stamped the image with brown Mementos ink and colored the rest with Copics and the background is airbrushed!  The paper is from my stash, Peek-a-boo Wonky Window , Heart Strings Die , Stitched Heart Stax ,  Mini Heart Collection .
